Fun Day

Shane and I are getting ready to watch the second Indiana Jones movie but I wanted to write in here really quick because I haven't in a long time, even though I think Melanie is the only one who reads this anymore. :)

So today was a long and exciting day. We picked up my mom and took her to Chile's for lunch. It was fun to hang out with her. The oil in Shane's car was being changed while we ate. After that, we went back to the house for a while to play video games and relax because it was too hot to be outside. We went to our storage unit later in the evening and went through boxes and threw a lot of stuff away, and took a bunch of things to Goodwill. We both felt better knowing that when we moved back into our apartment we wouldn't be taking a ton of stuff we didn't need. After Goodwill, we got some Subway, then rented some movies and ate ice cream.

Speaking of the apartment, we plan to move back this Saturday. We have new couches and we have a black coffee table picked out (from Poppy's, of course) and Dave said he would paint our bookcase black to match. Poppy's decided to give me that broken table, which my step-dad can also fix. It's the perfect size for our kitchen. Now all we need is an end table and some decorations! Pretty exciting stuff.
